Operation Graduation 2013: Frank Edwards (Downers Grove, Ill.)
I was unsure about Ombudsman when I first came here. I thought that all the work was going to be easy and I wasn’t going to learn anything. I was wrong. I learned I could work at my own rate. I also learned that I could teach myself some things as well.
My plans after Ombudsman is to get a job for the summer and save my earnings until I go to school. I will be attending Black Hawk College in Moline, IL. and enter the PTA (Physical Therapy Assistant) program.
I’m happy that I came here because it showed me that if I need help you sometimes need to ask for it. You’ll always get the help you need but if I don’t wait, I get it faster.
I thank Ombudsman and the teachers for being there and helping me when I needed it.
