Operation Graduation 2013: Richard Campbell (Athens, Ala.)

Date: May 22, 2013

There are so many choices of schools when it comes to “catching up” but there is only one I would send my kids to, it’s called Ombudsman. Ombudsman is a great program for those of us lacking credits. Ombudsman has helped me achieve my goals of school and catch up on my credits. The good things are the great staff is around to help you at a raise of a hand, the hospitable vibe I get when I’m here, and they don’t push your work down your throat: you get to work at your own pace.

The teachers here are great, they know what they are talking about. There are two teachers that acted like my mom; they took me under their wing and told me off when I done something wrong. They also helped me achieve my goals in high school, and I am the class of 2013.

The hospitable atmosphere here is great; it makes it feel like home. Everyone is friendly and says good morning and have a good day. You don’t get that much anywhere. The teachers are like family; they want you to succeed in life.

Now what set this all off for me was not getting my work pushed down my throat. I am allowed to work at my own pace. I get my work done, but I can also take a quick break if need be. I like being able to work at my own pace because I don’t feel pressured, and it’s not all rush, rush. You will finish when you finish!

Ombudsman has really helped me achieve my goals. With the great staff, the great environment, and the pace Ombudsman is a really great program.
