UPDATE: Operation Greeting 2013

Date: December 6, 2013

As we all prepare for the holidays, I wanted to express my thanks to the ESA family for supporting Operation Greeting.

This year we collected more than 1,200 cards, which brings our grand total to more than 11,200 cards created and mailed to our troops since launching this initiative in 2009. What an amazing effort from ESA students and staff!

This year we partnered with the Red Cross Holiday Mail for Heroes campaign and the South Washington County Military Support Group, and our cards are now en route to U.S. troops serving in the Middle East and on the USS Kearsarge.

Thanks to all who participated; your cards put a smile on our faces as we read through them, and they are certain to brighten a soldier’s day! I especially want to recognize Jill Wallace and Bruce Nudd for their support and effort in organizing this project.

I am so thankful to live in this country, to be part of this organization and I look forward to leading this wonderful project again next year.

Happy Holidays,

Nicole Walker, Operations Manager
Ombudsman Educational Services
