Student Profile: Michelle Woods (Sumter County, Ga.)
Date: June 18, 2012
When I enrolled in the Ombudsman program I was extremely shy and I thought no one cared. After being kicked out of school I thought my life was over. When I came to Sumter County I was able to enroll in the Ombudsman program.
The teachers at Ombudsman have helped me to do well in school. When I am upset they talk to me to calm me down. They are the best teachers ever. I am so thankful to have them in my life. They make Ombudsman a safe place to learn.
Also, I want to thank them for this opportunity for a second chance. This has made me more determined to accomplish my goals. I focus more on my work now than ever before.
