UPDATED – Operation Greeting 2011: Supporting U.S. Troops
UPDATE: Wednesday, Nov. 23
As we all prepare for the Thanksgiving holiday, I just wanted to express my thanks to all of you for supporting Operation Greeting. This was the most successful year to date. We collected 2,210 cards. What an amazing effort from the ESA family!
All of the cards are en route to our troops. We sent cards to four Units, two Camps and a hospital. Below is a series of pictures featuring the places and people who will receive our cards.
I am so thankful to live in this country and to be part of this organization.

Ombudsman Educational Services
Ombudsman Educational Services is joining forces with sister division Spectrum Center Schools and Programs and the corporate office of Educational Services of America to show gratitude and support for U.S. troops who are away from their families during the holidays.
ESA’s Ombudsman division has been a supporter of Operation Band-Aid since 2009. In the last two years, Ombudsman students and staff have created and sent over 3,000 greeting cards to U.S. troops serving overseas.
This year, the Spectrum Center division and ESA’s corporate office staff are joining Ombudsman to participate in this fun and uplifting project!
Students and staff are creating handmade greeting, get-well-soon, thank-you and holiday cards, which will be collected and sent this month to U.S. soldiers deployed around the world and to the Landstuhl Army Medical Center in Germany.
The partnership provides community service experience for our students, and more importantly, support for real American heroes – our U.S. service men and women.
