Ombudsman Arizona Charter School Students Place in JAG Works Career Development Conference (Phoenix)

The 2016-17 Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) Works Career Development Conference celebrated the achievements of the more than 1,000 youth participating in JAG programs across Arizona. Charter Metro students participated in the WOA Bot-Mania Robotics competition, Team Tower, Mirror Communication, and their Chapter Banner.
For JAG students, it was an opportunity to put into practice the “real life” skills they have been learning throughout the year. JAG’s Mission is to help young people to stay in school and to acquire the academic, personal, leadership and vocational skills they will need to be successful upon graduation.
Students were awarded scholarships and earned awards for the competitions they held throughout the school year. Students Hiba Al-Any and Zahara Al-Jaberi were awarded 2nd place!
