Fusion Academy of Michigan Community Cookouts July 29 and Aug. 5 (Detroit)
Two community cookouts are scheduled to introduce Fusion Academy of Michigan, a new, free school that gives students who have dropped out of high school a second chance to earn their diploma. The new school will open in fall 2011 with space for 300 students at two Detroit-area learning centers. Fusion Academy of Michigan is flexible, convenient and tuition is FREE.
Both family-friendly events will include food, prizes and games. Staff will be on-site and available to answer questions about Fusion Academy of Michigan and enroll students for the upcoming fall session. These events are FREE and open to the public.

Fusion Academy of Michigan is operated by virtual school operator Connections Education and alternative education provider Ombudsman Educational Services. The school combines online coursework with personal support and face-to-face instruction from caring, highly qualified, certified teachers.
