Charter Valencia Chess Society (Tucson, Ariz.)

The students of Charter Valencia in Tucson, Ariz., have established the Charter Valencia Chess Society.

Established as an extracurricular initiative for students working at grade level or above, the group provides intramural competition for students who want to be challenged at a higher cognitive skill level.

The organization consists of 23 students with a variety of skill levels ranging from beginner to advanced.

Charter Valencia is proud of the amazing enthusiasm shown by its students in establishing this extracurricular initiative.

The chess society is a great way to expand and grow in an educational environment. It’s also a rewarding way to make and meet new friends!
