Research & Analytics

Ombudsman understands the importance of research in fulfilling the mission to educate non-traditional learners and established a Department of Research and Analytics to analyze existing and new data in order to determine Ombudsman’s effectiveness and impact, identify methods for modifying or improving practices, and providing new knowledge to the field of alternative education.

The information and insight gained through evaluation of the effectiveness of Ombudsman programs help ensure all students receive the educational and behavioral tools to learn, graduate and create better lives for themselves, their families and their communities.

Ombudsman is committed to sharing its best practices with other organizations and individuals who work with young people, and members of the department of Research and Analytics regularly present their findings in speeches, presentations and published articles.
