I want to go to college, and thanks to Ombudsman, I can make that happen.
I didn’t want to go to an alternative school, but I made some bad decisions and got distracted by my peers at my old school. Now that I’m used to working on my own and at my own pace, I feel differently.
I like that I have an alternate route to learning, because without it, I’d probably still be headed down the wrong path and end up in jail. Now that I’m headed down the right path, I can focus on my work and work toward my goals. Here, I don’t worry about what’s going on around me. I just focus on my work, and my teachers help me when I don’t understand.
After completing the credits I need here, I plan on returning to my old school to finish high school with my friends. I want to go to college, and thanks to Ombudsman, I can make that happen.
