My daughter needed a setting that was appropriate for her, an environment without distractions. There were too many distractions at her old school that kept her from focusing on her work.

The Ombudsman staff has made it possible for her to stay on task and complete her assignments. Their supervision, policy enforcement and encouragement help her accomplish her goals and put my mind at ease because I know she is safe. I like knowing there is a sense of accountability for her whereabouts and she has the support she needs. Now she is more motivated to complete her studies and graduate.

She is really receptive to learning at Ombudsman. She is not just exposed to the required materials.

She is receptive to them and making progress. The alternative schedule has made much of her success possible. She can complete her education during a compressed school day and can also work after school. Ombudsman is a good program and alternative for her. I’m not sure she would have completed her high school education in a traditional setting.
