Ombudsman has proven itself again and again as an effective alternative program.
When we started working with Ombudsman, our goals were simple. We wanted to give our students with behavioral and academic issues a second chance to meet state standards. We also wanted them to have options for their future.
Ombudsman helps us accomplish those goals by providing individualized, technology-based instruction to students who were not succeeding in the traditional high school setting.
Ombudsman has proven itself again and again as an effective alternative program. Our Ombudsman students can make great progress with a little help. Many of them make up lost time and can return to the classroom.
Ombudsman’s individualized instruction, shortened school day and self-paced work schedule have been so successful that we now have three programs. Two off-campus sites and one in-house intervention program help students work at their own pace, catch up with their peers and graduate with their class.
