Our Process
What we do is simple – we help students graduate. Our programs are specifically designed to guide those students that face challenges in the traditional classroom setting. We work with the school, the teacher, and the parent to help that child succeed – in school and in life. Since 1975, more than 100,000 students have found success with Ombudsman.
How We Do It
- Diagnostic Assessment—Each student’s skill levels in reading, writing and mathematics are assessed.
- Prescription—Create an individualized learning path for each student.
- Instruction—Each student works at his or her own level and pace either on computer-based curriculum or at an array of supplementary learning activities. Teachers are available for assistance.
- Evaluation—Each student’s academic growth is evaluated daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly by trained staff. This assures that the student is progressing and allows teachers to adjust teaching strategies if needed.
