Teachers — The Key To Their Success
Our teachers guide, inspire and most of all help students find success. All certified teachers and instructional staff members are carefully screened and selected for their ability to work effectively with at-risk students.
In addition, it’s important that every Ombudsman teacher possesses a high degree of emotional maturity, general intelligence, willingness to change instructional strategies and tactics, and a sense of humor.
Students and teachers have a unique and special relationship in the program. The teacher is directly responsible for the assessment, prescription, instruction and evaluation of each student’s learning abilities, needs and competency goals. Many times our teachers find that working with students in our non-traditional setting can be one of the most rewarding experiences of their career.
